About Us

Who We Are

Our church was established in 1881 in Four Oaks, North Carolina.  It has always been a church where everyone is welcome regardless of denomination.  The congregation follows God's word in loving everyone as our neighbor as we love ourselves.  Here we teach and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ as found in the Holy Bible.

Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide a church home within our community where we welcome everyone and we let the love of Jesus Christ be seen by everyone with whom we come into contact.

Matthew 28:19 provides us with our mission: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

We are handicap accessible

Our church has a covered entrance to our handicapped lift which carries you up to the sanctuary.

Our Vision

We are committed to providing a comfortable environment and to be a Biblically functioning community.  As a community church, we fully support the Global Methodist Church Book of Doctrine and Discipline.  As representatives of Jesus Christ in our families, our communities, and our world, we can and will strive to make a positive difference in the lives of those around us by offering the Good News of Jesus Christ and His message of salvation from the Holy Bible.  By being living examples of Jesus, we will welcome all people churched or unchurched regardless of race, sex, or nationality into the body of Christ.  We do this by being a witness to them and encouraging them to discover Jesus and build a relationship with Him through personal commitment, testimony, praise and worship, Bible Study, prayer and fellowship.  We will work with various healthcare facilities to establish visits to share with all the Good News of jesus Christ through word and hymns.
